Good Bacteria and Bad Bacteria

The human body acts as a host for a broad range of microorganisms. Not all bacteria are harmful. Certain types of bacteria are beneficial to your health.

Good bacteria lives in the digestive system and on the skin. The colon consists of a large number of bacteria. The good bacteria prevent infections and the proliferation of the bad bacteria. They also support the gut by synthesizing vitamins and nutrients.

Certain bacteria, for example, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, enhance the immune system by regulation and stimulation of the immune cells. They protect us from the bad bacteria by releasing the toxins that harm the bad bacteria or by altering the pH or acidity level.
